Questions

Are the captions accurate?

They come from a transcript of your actual audio, so they're as accurate as the transcription — very good on clear speech, weaker on names and jargon. You also get an SRT file, so a wrong word can be fixed in your editor without re-rendering.

Can I change the caption style?

Yes, on the upload screen. Punch is preset for TikTok; Clean, Boxed and Subtle are one click away. The style is chosen before processing because the captions are burned into the video.

Will the captions cover my face?

They sit in the lower part of the frame, on a single line, and the size is calculated from the frame so they never run off the edge. Keep your face in the upper two thirds and they won't overlap.

Does reframing to 9:16 cut off part of my video?

Yes — going from 16:9 to 9:16 keeps the middle third of the width. Keep yourself roughly centred when you film and it'll frame well. Reframing is part of the Creator plan; captions and cutting are free to try.
