Questions

Should LinkedIn video be landscape or vertical?

Both play, but landscape sits better in the desktop feed and in a post next to text. If most of your audience is on mobile, vertical is fine — set the shape to 9:16 or keep the original.

Can I use the SRT with LinkedIn's own captions?

Yes. LinkedIn accepts an SRT upload for closed captions. If you'd rather the captions be toggleable than burned in, process without captions here and upload the SRT to LinkedIn.

Will it change how I sound?

No. The audio is levelled to a standard loudness and the silences are shortened. Your voice isn't processed, compressed or pitch-corrected.
